Alright, so we know what you’re thinking: Where did 661Arts go?
Right?? We were thinking the same thing.
ANYWAY, we’re back, but we’re making some changes – hence, the current bare, and minimal (but oh-so-pretty) site layout. So, hang tight and expect to see some consistent updates in the very near future.

The City Council has officially approved the formation of an Arts Commission. Nobody really knows what that means for now – the Arts Advisory Committee will work with City Staff to determine exactly how it will come together – but one thing is for sure: There will be more attention given to the Arts in Santa Clarita in coming years. Lets start with some press. The Signal and KHTS are both interested as well as some bloggers I know – SCVTalk, IHeartSCV, Bossert.
Alright, now let’s get some things done.

661Arts had a booth at the Street Art Festival last weekend, and made a whole lot of people smile. A table was set up so that kids big and small could paint, and a photo booth made photographs every 7 seconds of whatever was in front of it.
