Murals in Downtown Newhall

Three new works of public art are helping to add color to the “Arts and Theatre District” in Downtown Newhall. The City commissioned the painted murals as part of the Old Town Newhall Mural Project, and presented the pieces today to the citizens, journalists and members of the City Council. Artists Victoria Sulski and Peter Bartczak, Nicole Ponsler, and Frank Rock each worked within a theme to create tributes to “the Walk of Western Stars,” “The California Vaquero” and “the History of Santa Clarita” respectively. Go the the corner of Market Street and Main Street (aka San Fernando Road) and walk around a bit – you’ll see them.
